कौआ किसी का धन नहीं चुराता लेकिन फिर भी कौआ लोगों को पसंद नहीं होता। वहीँ कोयल किसी को धन नहीं देती लेकिन सबको अच्छी लगती है। ये फर्क है बोली का – कोयल मीठी बोली से सबके मन को हर लेती है।

कागा का को धन हरे, कोयल का को देय ।

मीठे वचन सुना के, जग अपना कर लेय ।

The crow does not steal anyone's money but still people do not like the crow. Whereas the cuckoo does not give money to anyone but everyone likes it. This is the difference of speech - the cuckoo takes away everyone's mind with sweet speech.

kaaga ka ko dhan hare, koyal ka ko dey .
